06.04.2017 (Hvino News). “according to the data of the first quarter wine export increased with 85%. In January-March 2017 Georgia exported 14 199 018 bottles of wine, which is 77% more compared to January-March 2016,” – declared Georgia’s prime-minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili at the government session.
“this is a very good data. It especially gladdening that diversification of the markets grows not only in Georgia’s neighboring countries, but in the markets of the European Union and China. This, once again, points to the enormous significance of export potential for Georgia,” – the prime-minister noted.
Kvirikashvili stated that it is important that the wine export-growth trend continues, as, according to him, agriculture is the very direction, which can best improve population’s social conditions.
