The portal TripAdvisor selected the world’s best gastronomic tours. Tours in Portugal, Spain, Georgia, Italy, Japan, Australia, Greece, the US and Great Britain are among the top ten.
Commercial director of Travel Hunter, Margarita Polonik, on the air-time of „Москва FM“ told us where else we can go for gastronomic tours.
“it’s the second year that Georgia enjoys great popularity. This year, on May holidays great amount of clients take flights to that direction and a lot of tours have been booked for summer and autumn. From the gastronomical perspective, Tbilisi is not enough. Georgia is so unique in terms of logistics among the regions and cities that we can show you Tbilisi, Georgia’s ancient capital Mtskheta and Kazbegi region in one tour,”- she declared.
The first place in TripAdvisor’s list is occupied by the four-hour tour of Lisbon. During the walks, the tourists will have the opportunity to taste Portuguese cheese, Iberian sausage made of pork, ham pata negra, virgin olive oil, home-made jam, traditional bread and five types of Port Wine.
