CHATEAU NEKRESI

Combination of two words, which is associated with two countries of wine-making, two traditions of wine-making: the cradle of wine Georgia and modern leader in wine-making – France.

Chateau (Fr. Château) — is an accepted title in France for an out-of-city residence of the highest aristocracy and, generally, the nobility, usually with parks and wine production facilities.

Nekresi — is an attractive monastery situated on the mountain on top of Alazani valley.

The earliest building here is the church built at the end of the IV century in commemoration of adopting Christianity as a state religion in Georgia.
